Full Deck Rebuild

Irene reached out through one of our Facebook ads. Her old deck was falling apart and she wanted it done properly this time, no patch jobs. We stripped it right back and rebuilt the lot from the frame up, laying fresh composite decking in Slate Grey across the full 10x4m space. We finished it with a darker charcoal picture-frame border and matching steps down to the yard, plus a slatted privacy screen to close off the side. The result is a solid, low-maintenance deck that runs the length of the home and finally gives Irene an outdoor space she can trust.

Project Overview

This was a full rebuild rather than a repair. The old deck had reached the end of its life, so we tore it out and started again with a proper subframe underneath. On top we laid composite boards in Slate Grey from the Brite Deck HD Pro range, chosen for its finish and low upkeep. The 10x4m deck sits under the existing pergola, wrapped with a contrasting charcoal border and matching fascia for a clean, tidy edge. We built in steps down to the lawn and a slatted screen to the side, giving Irene a finished outdoor area that ties straight into the back of the home.
